“Thinking Before Spending”

Somewhere in the 1980’s I started spending without really thinking about the repercussions of my purchases. But as my income decreased I started working as hard as I could to remedy the situation. Now, my house and cars are paid off and I live much more frugally. My husband’s, way too early, retirement has prompted him to go back and get an MBA and I am preparing to go back to work after being a stay at home mom. I have recently passed the Alabama State Insurance License exam in Life and Health and am currently taking the per-certification course for the Property and Casualty. I share what I have learned about insurance and the steps I take to keep my household expenses under control.
